Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Jalen Langsy, Northwestern College (Guard)
Jalen Langsy of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Langsy, a sophomore from Shakopee, Minnesota, had a career night in Northwestern's 105-86 win over Dordt, making a program-record 12 threes and scoring 48 points. On the week, Langsy averaged 32.5 points on 59 percent shooting from the field and 60 percent from three. He is currently leading the NAIA in points per game (28.2) and is fifth in the country in three-point percentage (51.2%).
Defensive – Krys Watley, Waldorf University (Guard)
Krys Watley of Waldorf University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Watley, a sophomore from San Antonio, Texas averaged 7.5 defensive rebounds, 2.0 steals in a pair of Waldorf wins. Against Concordia, he recorded eight defensive rebounds, 1 steal, and a block. He chipped in with 16.5 points per game on the week as well.
