Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Blake Sindelar, Briar Cliff University (Guard)
Blake Sindelar of Briar Cliff University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Sindelar, a senior from Howells, Nebraska, averaged 27.5 points pr game while shooting 67% in two Charger victories. Sindelar scored 30 points and went 12-for-20 from the field against Waldorf. Against Doane, he scored 25 points and went 9-for-11 from the floor and knocked down a pair of threes.
Defensive – Brooks Kissinger, Concordia University (Guard)
Brooks Kissinger of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Kissinger, a junior from Ashland, Nebraska, helped lead Concordia to a 78-73 road win over No. 3 Northwestern. Defensively, Kissinger collected three steals and two blocked shots as the Bulldog held the Red Raiders well below their scoring average entering the game (99.6). Kissinger also scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
