2025 GPAC Women’s Volleyball Tournament Quarterfinals Complete

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The top four seeds have advanced to Wednesday's semifinals of the 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Volleyball Tournament after quarterfinal play on Saturday around the league.

In Orange City, Iowa, top seed Northwestern defeated eight seed Mount Marty 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 27-25), while four seed Dakota Wesleyan won at home in Mitchell, South Dakota, 3-1. over five seed Dordt (25-20, 25-20, 24-26, 25-20).  The Red Raiders will host the Tigers on Wednesday night at 7pm. 

On the opposite side of the bracket in Seward, Nebraska, two seed Concordia defeated seven seed Morningside 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-17).  In Fremont, Nebraska, the three seed Midland posted a 3-0 win over six seed College of Saint Mary (25-15, 25-19, 25-15). The Bulldogs will host the Warriors on Wednesday night at 7pm.

Northwestern will receive the GPAC regular season automatic berth to the NAIA National Women's Volleyball Championship as the number one seed. The GPAC Volleyball Tournament winner (runner-up if Northwestern wins) also receives an automatic berth to the NAIA National Volleyball Championship. 

The 2025 NAIA Volleyball National Championship includes a field of 48 teams. All 48 teams will play in opening round matches played on campus sites nationwide on November 22 . The opening round winners will play at the final site for a 24-team pool play NAIA National Championship December 3-9 , 2025, in Sioux City at the Tyson Events Center.
