NAIA Extends Women's Volleyball Championship in Sioux City Through 2028
(Kansas City, Mo.). – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has extended its agreement with the Tyson Events Center and the City of Sioux City, naming them hosts of the NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship through 2028.

"As women's athletics continues to explode in popularity, we are proud to be on the forefront of that growth through our longstanding partnership with the NAIA," said Chad Smidt, general manager of the Tyson Events Center. "We couldn't ask for a better partner in the NAIA and can't wait to see what the future holds as we continue to develop and grow the women's volleyball national championship in Sioux City."
The women's volleyball national championship has been a staple in the Sioux City community since 2008. Each year, the championship gathers 24 teams at Tyson Events Center to compete in a seven-day single-elimination tournament. Each year, the championship averages around 6,650 attendees from across the region and country.

"The growth and excitement around volleyball in Sioux City and the surrounding area has been a direct result of this prestigious championship being here since 2008. Hosting this event is a tremendous honor and continues our long-standing tradition of being a strong partner with the NAIA as a high-caliber championship host community."
The Tyson Events Center and the City of Sioux City will host the upcoming women's volleyball national championship set to take place December 3–9, 2025.
