Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes-of-the-Week
Field Events – Eve Seedorff, Waldorf University
Eve Seedorff from Waldorf University is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. Seedorff, a sophomore from Janesville, Iowa, broke a nine-year Waldorf record with her hammer throw of 38.97 meters. The throw was her best attempt by over four meters, helping her to a third-place finish at the Vikings Relays. She currently has the second-best hammer throw in the GPAC.
Track Events – Jaida Rowe, Hastings College
Jaida Rowe of Hastings College is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Rowe, a senior, from Lincoln, Nebraska, set the school record in the 400 hurdles with a time of 58.47, which currently ranks No. 1 in the NAIA. She also ran a personal record of 14.23 in the 100 hurdles which places her 4th in school history and ranks 4th in the NAIA.
