Week 6: GPAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week

Field Events – Adysen McCarter, Concordia University
Adysen McCarter from Concordia University is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. McCarter, a sophomore from Overton, Nebraska, eclipsed her own school record in the triple jump while placing second (behind an NCAA Division II athlete) at the Sevigne Husker Invite. McCarter landed at 39' 3" (11.96m) a mark that ranks first in the GPAC and fourth in the NAIA.
Track Events – Adrianna Rodencal, Concordia University
Adrianna Rodencal of Concordia University is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Rodencal, a senior, from Lincoln, Nebraska, shattered her own school record in the 60-meter hurdles. Her time of 8.26 beat out a Husker Invite field made up of mostly NCAA Division I and II athletes. Rodencal leads the NAIA in the event and has run eight 60 hurdles times faster than any other women's athlete in the NAIA this season. Additionally, Rodencal ran a personal best of 24.96 in the 200 meters, putting her at No. 2 on Concordia's school list.
