Week 4: GPAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week

Field Events – Adysen McCarter, Concordia University
Adysen McCarter from Concordia University is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. McCarter, a sophomore from Overton, Nebraska, eclipsed her own school record while winning the triple jump competition at the Concordia Polar Dog Invite. McCarter's triple jump of 39' 1.25" ranks first in the GPAC and fifth in the NAIA. She also ran the 200 meters and placed fourth at the meet.
Track Events – Katie Vogt, Doane University
Katie Vogt of Doane University is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Vogt, a senior, from Pierce, Nebraska, broke the 400m school record for the second straight week, posting a time of 55.10 which leads the GPAC and is second in the NAIA. She added a personal best time of 24.94 in the 200m, the third-fastest time in Doane history. She is currently fifth in the NAIA and second in the GPAC in the event.
