Field Events – Mia Knigge, Doane University
Mia Knigge from Doane University is this week's women's field athlete-of-the-week. Knigge, a senior from Fremont, Nebraska, moved into a tie for first in the weight throw on the GPAC performance list and fourth in the NAIA with a throw of 17.56m (57-07.50). Her throw was a personal best and was four inches further than the mark she posted in December.
Track Events – Addy Liston, Dordt University
Addy Liston of Dordt University is this week's women's track athlete-of-the-week. Addy Liston, a freshman, from Ireton, Iowa, picked up her first career win as a Defender at the Dordt Open last weekend. Liston won the 1000m with an NAIA B standard time of 2:57.99. He time ranks second in the NAIA, first in the GPAC and is the third fastest in program history.
