Week 1: GPAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes-of-the-Week
Field Events – Adysen McCarter, Concordia University
Adysen McCarter from Concordia University is this week's women's field athlete-of-the-week. McCarter, a sophomore from Overton, Nebraska, broke a school record in the first meet of the 2025-26 indoor season. She landed at 39' 1" (NAIA auto mark) while setting a new program record in the triple jump. McCarter also ran the leadoff leg for a 4x4 that clocked an NAIA B standard. McCarter currently ranks No. 1 in the GPAC and No. 4 in the NAIA in the triple jump.
Track Events – Tania Gleason, Doane University
Tania Gleason of Doane University is this week's women's track athlete-of-the-week. Gleason, a senior, from Bennington, Nebraska, posted the fastest time in the NAIA in the 200m with a converted track time of 24.47. She also was a part of the 4x400 relay that finished second.
