Week 2: GPAC Women's Indoor T&F Athletes of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes-of-the-Week
Field Events – Kerrigan Myers, Midland University
Kerrigan Myers from Midland University is this week's women's field athlete-of-the-week. Myers, a senior from Galion, Ohio, had a spectacular meet this weekend. On Friday, she won the women's pentathlon with a score of 3274 points (new school record) by taking the top spot in 4 of the 5 events. She followed that up with an NAIA "A" Standard time of 8.64 in the prelims of the 60m hurdles. She would go on to run a time of 8.73 in the finals to place second. She currently ranks seventh in the NAIA in the pentathlon and has the fourth-fastest time in the 60m hurdles this season.
Track Events – Adrianna Rodencal, Concordia University
Adrianna Rodencal of Concordia University is this week's women's track athlete-of-the-week. Rodencal, a junior from Lincoln, Nebraska, broke her own school record in the 60-meter hurdles by clocking an automatic national qualifying time of 8.53 in the finals of the event. She currently ranks first in the GPAC and third nationally in the 60 hurdles. Rodencal also ran the leadoff leg for a 4x4 that recorded a 'B' standard (converted to 3:54.63 for the national list) that tops the GPAC this season. Finally, she placed second at the Bulldog Early Bird in the 200 meters.
