2026 Women’s Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals Complete
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The top four seeds have advanced to Saturday's semifinals of the 2026 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Basketball Tournament after quarterfinal play on Wednesday night around the league.

In Sioux Center, Iowa, top seed Dordt defeated eight seed Mount Marty 91-63, while four seed Concordia won at home in Seward, Nebraska, 111-70 over five seed Briar Cliff. The Defenders will host the Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon at 3pm in Sioux Center.
On the opposite side of the bracket in Mitchell, South Dakota, two seed Dakota Wesleyan defeated seven seed Doane 74-45. In Hastings, Nebraska, the three seed Hastings posted a 116-88 win over six seed Northwestern. The Tigers will host the Broncos on Saturday afternoon at 3pm in Mitchell.
Dordt will receive the GPAC regular season automatic berth to the NAIA National Women's Basketball Championship as the number one seed. The GPAC Women's Basketball Tournament winner (runner-up if Dordt wins) also receives an automatic berth to the NAIA National Women's Basketball Championship.
A field of 64 teams will make the NAIA Women's Basketball Postseason this year. Games will be played at First and Second Round Sites on March 13-14 (four team pods). The 16 opening round winners will play in the NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship is set for March 19-24, 2026, in Sioux City, Iowa, at the Tyson Events Center.
