Week 6: GPAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's basketball players-of-the-week for contests played December 1-7, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week

Offensive – Lacey Sprakel, Mount Marty University (Forward)

Lacey Sprakel of Mount Marty University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball offensive player-of-the-week.  Sprakel, a senior from Crofton, Nebraska, averaged 24 points on the week to lead the Lancers. In addition, she averaged six rebounds and two assists on the week. She was nearly perfect from the charity stripe, going 16-of-17, while shooting 55.2 percent from the field.

Defensive – Abby Lee, Briar Cliff University (Forward)

Abby Lee of Briar Cliff University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball defensive player-of-the-week.  Lee, a freshman from Sioux City, Iowa, averaged six defensive rebounds, three steals, and 3.5 blocks this past week. Against Dordt, she recorded five steals, three blocks and grabbed six defensive rebounds. Against Mount Marty, she recorded four blocks, one steal, and six defensive rebounds. In addition she chipped in with 18.5 point per game.
