Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Softball Weekly Honors
Player – Isabelle Pagan, Midland University (Infielder)
Isabelle Pagan of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports softball player-of-the-week. Pagan, a senior from Elkhorn, Nebraska, went 4-for-6 with 4 RBIs last week as Midland split its road doubleheader at Hastings. She had three RBI singles in game one and then blasted a solo home run in the second game of the day. For the season, she is hitting .343 at the plate with eight homers and 30 RBIs.
Pitcher – Alison Ernsberger, Dakota Wesleyan University
Alison Ernsberger of Dakota Wesleyan University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Ernsberger, a sophomore from Granville, Ohio, grabbed a win in the circle in the first game of Tigers' doubleheader against Briar Cliff. She tossed a complete game, going all seven innings, tallying 11 total strikeouts while only giving up one earned run. It was her 10th win of the season as a pitcher.
