Week 1: GPAC Softball Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the softball player and pitcher-of-the-week for contests played February 2-8, 2026. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Softball Weekly Honors

Player – Jaycee Tebay, Dakota Wesleyan University (Utility)

Jaycee Tebay of Dakota Wesleyan University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports softball player-of-the-week.  Tebay, a sophomore from Dell Rapids, South Dakota, recorded seven hits on 11 at-bats through four contests. She tallied a team-leading eight total RBIs in four games, including a four-RBI performance in a 7-0 win against Mount Mercy, which was earned with a grand slam. In all she had a pair of home runs, a double, and posted a .636 batting average over the weekend.

Pitcher – Chloe Kreuz, Dordt University

Chloe Kreuz of Dordt University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week.  Kreuz, a junior from Ruthererfordton, North Carolina, tossed a no-hitter against Culver Stockton on Friday night and faced one over the minimum. She struck out two without surrendering a walk.
