Doane Claims 2025 GPAC Men's Cross Country Championship
(Ashland, Nebraska) - The 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Championships, powered by Two West and presented by IMA, were held on Saturday, November 8, in Ashland, Nebraska, at Mahoney State Park.
(Ashland, Nebraska) - The 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Championships, powered by Two West and presented by IMA, were held on Saturday, November 8, in Ashland, Nebraska, at Mahoney State Park.
Doane University scored 36 points to claim the 2025 GPAC Women's Championship. Doane posted the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 10th, and 14th runners for their total of 36 points. Dordt was second with 50 points, while Concordia was third with 65 points.
Truman Johnson from Dordt was the individual champion with an 8K time of 24:45.65.
Today's qualifiers will advance to the NAIA National Championships on November 21, 2025, in Tallahassee, Florida, at Apalachee Regional Park.
The NAIA will release a list of the additional team and individual qualifiers next week.
The top-15 runners in the race are GPAC All-Conference and Brad Jenny from Doane was named the GPAC Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year.
