Week 6: GPAC Cross Country Runners of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Cross Country Runners-of-the Week
Women – Joy Koole, Dordt University
Joy Koole of Dordt University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week. Koole, a freshman from Windsor, Colorado, was the top NAIA runner in a loaded field at the Holiday Inn Express Classic, a meet hosted by Dordt University, last weekend. Koole finished fourth overall and ran a personal-best time of 21:20, 41 seconds faster than her previous best. She has finished among the top 10 in all three meets this season and currently has the fastest time in the GPAC and seventh best in the NAIA.
Men – Luke Swanson, Dordt University
Luke Swanson of Dordt University College is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week. Swanson, a senior from Greenfield, Minnesota, was the top NAIA runner at the Holiday Inn Express Classic, a meet hosted by Dordt University, last weekend. Swanson finished seventh overall in a field that featured runners from NCAA Division I and II programs, as well as several NAIA teams. He ran a personal-best time of 24:44 which is currently the fastest 8K time in the GPAC and 26th fastest in the NAIA.
