MEN
Zander Ernst, Morningside University– 165lb Weight Class
Morningside University wrestler Zander Ernst is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Wrestler-of-the-Week. Zander, a junior from Aurelia, Iowa, went 2-0 on the week in a pair of duals. He defeated No. 20 Jackson Remmers of Dakota Wesleyan with a 10-1 major decision. He picked up another major decision win, 20-6, in a dual victory over Jackson Balmer of Briar Cliff. As a team the Mustangs went 1-1 for the week.
WOMEN
Reagen Gallaway, Hastings College – 138/145lb Weight Class
Hastings College wrestler Reagen Gallaway is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Wrestler-of-the-Week. Gallaway, a junior from Kearney, Nebraska, went 5-1 during the week, including two first period pins over top 10 opponents. She had a critical pin in their 23-22 dual win at Midland, wrestling at 145 on Friday. On Saturday, she wrestled at 138 and began with a pin in less than a minute. Gallaway then pinned seventh-ranked Lexi Ritchie of Lindsey Wilson at the 1:06 mark and in the quarterfinals, winning by tech fall. She went on to pin eighth-ranked Isabelle Hawley of William Penn 47 seconds into the semifinal match before losing by tech fall to the top-ranked wrestler at 145, Esther Kolawole of William Penn, in the final.
