MEN
Tyson Beauperthuy, Doane University – 184lb Weight Class
Doane wrestler Tyson Beauperthuy is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Wrestler-of-the-Week. Beauperthuy, a senior from Colorado Springs, Colorado, outscored his opponents 107-25 on his way to his second tournament title this year. Among his five victories, Beauperthuy won three matches by tech fall, one by fall, and one by injury default in which he led 11-1 at the time of the stoppage. He defeated three ranked opponents as he improved to 11-0 on the season.
WOMEN
Cristelle Rodriguez, Doane University – 124lb Weight Class
Doane wrestler Cristelle Rodriguez is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Wrestler-of-the-Week. Rodriguez, a senior from Clovis, California, out-scored her opponents 43-0 as she went 4-0 in winning the Conner/Oppenheim Doane Open for her second tournament title of the season. She earned two wins over Top-15 opponents, including third-ranked Jasmina Immaeva. Each of her four victories ended in the first period.
