Jimmies Win 2nd Straight GPAC Men's Volleyball Tournament
(Sioux City, Iowa) – Top seed Jamestown defeated three seed Ottawa to claim the championship of the 2022 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men's Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, April 2.
It marks the second consecutive year that the Jimmies have won the title. In addition, it was a rematch of last year's inaugural tournament.
Jamestown made quick work of the Braves inside their home confines at the Newman Arena in Jamestown. The Jimmies won by scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-15.
The Jimmies, who are ranked No. 7 in the latest NAIA poll, also won the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record.
Jamestown, as the GPAC Men's Volleyball Tournament winner, receives an automatic berth to the NAIA Men's Volleyball National Championship in West Des Moines, Iowa, April 12-16 at Mid-American Energy Company RecPlex.
