Week 5: GPAC Men's Outdoor T&F Athletes of the Week

Field Events – Andrew Harms, Doane University
Andrew Harms from Doane University is this week's men's field athlete-of-the-week. Harms, a sophomore from Sterling, Nebraska, placed third in the decathlon at the Dutcher Memorial Classic and hit the NAIA "A" Standard with 6,350 points. The mark is the ninth best in the NAIA this season. In the decathlon he placed first in the long jump with a NAIA "B" Standard of 7.25 meters.
Track Events – Zach Turner, Doane University
Zach Turner of Doane University is this week's men's track athlete-of-the-week. Turner, a senior from Crete, Nebraska, posted the fastest times in the NAIA in both the 110 meter hurdles and the 400 meter hurdles at the Jim Dutcher Memorial Classic. In the 400m hurdles, he broke the Doane school record with a time of 51.05. In the 110 meter hurdles, he ran a time of 13.76 to improve his NAIA leading time and then topped the mark in the finals with a time of 13.72.
