Field Events – Braden Kalvelage, Northwestern College
Braden Kalvelage from Northwestern is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. Kalvelage, a senior from Hastings, Nebraska, won two events at the Nebraska Graduate Classic last weekend, setting an indoor PR in the long jump (7.55m) and taking first in the 200m (21.67).
Track Events – Kaden Van Wyngarden, Dordt University
Kaden Van Wyngarden of Dordt University is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Van Wyngarden, a junior, from Pella, Iowa, recorded a pair of first place finishes last weekend at the Mount Marty Open. He won the 1000m with a time of 2:33.3 and was part of a Defenders 4x800 relay team that hit the 'A' standard with the fastest time in the NAIA (7:42.29 - converted).
