Week 8: GPAC Tennis Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following tennis players-of-the-week for April 13-19, 2026.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women's Tennis – Line Jensen, Morningside University
Line Jensen of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Tennis Player of the Week. Jensen, a junior from Humlebaek, Denmark, went 6-0 overall, pairing with Brooke Marshall for doubles. She was perfect in No. 1 singles action as she helped the Mustangs to a record of 3-0 on the week

Men's Tennis – Marcos Menendez Hervella, Morningside University
Marcos Menendez Hervella of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Hervella, sophomore from Pozuelo de Alaracon, Spain, led the Mustangs to a 2-0 record last week. That helped cap another regular season championship season for Morningside. Hervella went 2-0 at No.1  singles and 2-0 at No. 1 doubles with teammate Alexis Diaz.
