Women's Tennis – Maria Purizaca, Doane University
Maria Purizaca of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Tennis Player of the Week. Purizaca, a sophomore from Lima, Peru, posted a number one singles (6-3,6-3) and number one doubles (6-4) win over Concordia as the Tigers secured the two seed in the conference tournament. Doane won the dual match 4-3 over the Bulldogs.
Men's Tennis – Grady Works, Concordia University
Grady Works of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Works, a senior from Lincoln, Nebraska, registered number three singles (6-2,6-3) and number three doubles (6-0) wins over Doane. Concordia is the three seed in this week's GPAC Men's Tennis Tournament.
