Week 8: GPAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played October 13-19, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-26 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week

Men's Offense – Hugo Garcia-Rosado Duran, Midland University (Midfielder)

Hugo Garcia-Rosado Duran of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Garcia, a senior from Barcelona, Spain, had 10 points for the Warriors this week as they moved to a tie atop the table. He tallied a hat trick, the second in two seasons for Midland, in the road win at Waldorf. For the week, he had four goals with two assists in 115 minutes of action.

Men's Defense – Sean Beatty, Midland University (Keeper)

Sean Beatty of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Beatty, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, made his first starts of the season this week for the Warriors after an injury to the starting goalkeeper. He responded with two shutout performances, picking up seven big saves in the win over Concordia, and guiding Midland to a clean sheet at Waldorf, where they didn't allow a shot on goal.
