Week 3: GPAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played September 8-14, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-26 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Men's Offense – Nacho Salmeron, Midland University (Forward)

Nacho Salmeron of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Salmeron, a sophomore from Murcia, Spain, scored a hat trick in Midland's road win over (RV) Columbia on Wednesday. This was his first collegiate hat trick.

Men's Defense – Tomas Reyes, Midland University (Keeper)

Tomas Reyes of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Reyes, a freshman from Guadalajara, Mexico, helped the Warriors to a pair of non-conference wins this week. In the road game against (RV) Columbia, he picked up the win while collecting 3 saves. He added 4 more saves and a clean sheet as Midland played Ottawa to a scoreless draw at home.
