(Sioux City, Iowa) – Morningside University totaled 87 points and are the preseason number one team in the 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Preseason Men's Soccer Coaches' Poll. The Mustangs garnered three of eleven first place votes. Morningside was the 2024 GPAC regular season soccer champion.
Hastings and Concordia tied for second with 84 points each, with the Broncos taking five first place votes and the Bulldogs taking one first place vote. Hastings won the 2024 GPAC Men's Soccer Tournament. Midland was selected fourth with 77 points and the final two first place votes. Northwestern was picked fifth with 66 points.
The 2025 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship will be December 1-8, at the Orange Beach Complex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Opening rounds will be November 20-22 on campus sites. The GPAC will receive one automatic bid (GPAC Postseason Tournament Champion) to the NAIA Postseason in 2025.
The 2025 GPAC men's soccer season schedule will consist of ten (10) league games as all 11 teams will compete for the conference crown.
