Week 11: GPAC Golf Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for March 23-29, 2026.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week

Women – Allison Meyerink, Dakota Wesleyan University
Allison Meyerink of Dakota Wesleyan University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Meyerink, a sophomore from Mitchell, South Dakota, won her fourth meet of the season individually at the Bethel Spring Invitational in Kansas. She finished five strokes ahead of the next-highest golfer, recording a 77 in the first round of competition and an 81 in the second round.

Men – Henry Kosmicki, Hastings College
Henry Kosmicki of Hastings College is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Kosmicki, a senior from, Grand Island, Nebraska, shot two under par at "The Battle" to place second, including a third round where he shot three under par. The Broncos tied for second place out of 20 teams and beat four teams ranked in the top 10, finishing tied or ahead of 10 teams that were ranked ahead of them.
