Week 3: GPAC Golf Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for September 15-21, 2025.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week

Women – Allison Meyerink, Dakota Wesleyan University
Allison Meyerink of Dakota Wesleyan University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Meyerink, a sophomore from Mitchell, South Dakota, continued her noteworthy start to the season with a final mark of 207 (-9) at the Northwest Iowa National Invitational against some of the NAIA's top competition. Overall, she tied for second individually at the event.

Men – Trey Van Roekel, Northwestern College
Trey Van Roekel of Northwestern College is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Van Roekel, a sophomore from Boyden, Iowa, led the way for the Raiders with a top-15 individual finish in a field of national contenders at the Northwest Iowa Invitational, posting the best round of his career and of the Raiders' season (67; -4). He made it through the third round at -4 with no bogeys.
