Week 1: GPAC Golf Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for September 1-7, 2025.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week

Women – Kamryn Zuniga, Morningside University
Kamryn Zuniga of Morningside University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Zuniga, a junior from Choctaw, Oklahoma, came on strong in day two of this year's Mustang Fall Invite, hosted by Mount Mercy University, moving up three places in the event's second round to claim medalist honors. She finished the two-round event with a 150, 6 over par.

Men – Connor Calahan, Dakota Wesleyan University
Connor Calahan of Dakota Wesleyan University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Calahan, a junior from Flagstaff, Arizona, carded an impressive 211 (-5) at Highlands (Lincoln, Neb.) to finish third individually at the Blue River Classic. He shot a 70 (-2) in round one and an even par (72) during round two. The third round was his best round of the tournament, shooting a 69 (-3).
