Week 9: GPAC Football Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following football players-of-the-week for games played the week of October 20-26, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-26 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/ Football Players-of-the-Week
Offense – Jed Jenson, Quarterback (Dakota Wesleyan University)
Dakota Wesleyan quarterback Jed Jenson is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Jenson, a sophomore from Rapid City, South Dakota, tied a career-high of five passings touchdowns in a 33-14 homecoming win over Waldorf. He also posted a career-best in completion percentage, going 20-of-28 (71.4%) and threw for 226 yards in total. The Tigers travel to Mount Marty on November 1. Kickoff will be at 1 pm.
Defense – Blake Bellamy, Linebacker (Morningside University)
Linebacker Blake Bellamy of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Bellamy, a junior from Winterset, Iowa, led Morningside on defense this week with 12 total tackles. He also recovered a fumble and snagged an interception deep in Concordia's territory, returning it 10 yards for a touchdown. The Mustangs travel to Doane November 1. Kickoff will be at 1 pm.
Special Teams – Colton Willmott, Kicker (Hastings College)
Colton Willmott of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Special Teams Player-of-the-Week. Willmott, a freshman from Arlington, Nebraska, made all three field goal attempts including the game-winning kick to win at Mount Marty, 23-20. The 40-yard kick to win the game was a career-long. Willmott also made both extra point kicks in the game. The Broncos host Dordt on November 1. Kickoff will be at 1 pm.
