GPAC Cheer and Dance Championships, Hosted by Northwestern

(Orange City, Iowa) - The 2026 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Cheer and Dance Championships will be on Friday and Saturday, March 6 and 7, in Orange City, Iowa, hosted by Northwestern College.  The 2026 GPAC CCD Championships will be held inside the Bultman Center on the Northwestern campus.

The Cheer Championship will be on Friday, March 6, with the Dance Championship on Saturday, March 7.

The cheer competition will begin on Friday with preliminaries at 3pm, while the dance competition will begin with preliminaries at 10am on Saturday.

Both events are automatic qualifiers for the NAIA Cheer and Dance National Championships, along with being the conference championships.

Finals start at 5:20 PM and will be ordered based on preliminary scores.

Following finals will be the GPAC Dance All-Conference Presentation and Awards Ceremony will be at 7:20 PM and 7:30 PM.

In 2025 Northwestern won the GPAC Cheer Championship, while Midland won the GPAC Dance Championship.

Both the GPAC Cheer and Dance Champions will receive an automatic qualifier to the NAIA National Championships will be in Topeka, Kansas, on March 27 -28, 2026.
