Week 2: GPAC Baseball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Baseball Weekly Honors
Player – Johnny Vulcano, Doane University (Infielder)
Doane University infielder Johnny Vulcano is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports baseball player-of-the-week. Vulcano, a senior from Cloverdale, British Columbia, had hits in all four games of Doane's sweep of Oklahoma City. He hit .545 on the week with two doubles, a home run, and four RBI. He also played clean defensively while splitting time between shortstop and second base, converting on all 15 opportunities.
Pitcher – Kaden Crawford, Doane University
Kaden Crawford of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Crawford, a senior from Fairfield, Texas, threw a complete game shutout against Oklahoma City in the series opener, setting up a four-game sweep of the Stars for Doane. He struck out 11 batters without allowing a walk and scattering three hits.
